"Taiwanese fried chicken in Southampton? Yes please! Very happy for this addition to the city's food scene. I liked how hot and fresh my order was, the octopus was tender and juicy, the popcorn chicken was crunchy and satisfying, and I loved my lotus root chips. There's a massive selection of bubble tea and I was happy with my selection. My one quibble is that they could go heavier on the seasoning. There is a bit of a wait for food but things seemed to be cooked to order so that's fine with me. Ji is no Hot Star (nothing can beat Hot Star IMHO) but it's still great IYKYK"

"Got some Karaage Chicken and a Volcanic Cheesy Chicken breast. Cooked fresh in front of you, with a range of seasonings to choose from. Very tasty, the garage chicken was tender with a beautiful crispy coating, and the cheesy chicken was incredible too. Waited about 10 minutes to get my order, looking at the very nice fish tank. Great place to get some decent fried chicken."

"The best chicken I have ever had and the plum chips were fantastic. Portion sizes were beyond generous and myself and my husband couldn't stop talking about how lovely it was. What a brilliant hidden gem of a place we found. Honestly gutted we don't live closer and can only pop in when we come up to Southampton. I want to both tell everyone how good this place is and also keep it a secret so noone finds out about it so they don't sell out when I next come."

"Our favourite halal place to eat in Southampton. The food is always 10/10 and never lets us down. Great portions and taste plus a great selection of seasonings. We have never had a bad experience and although It’s expensive considering it’s simplicity (chicken and chips) it is so worth considering there aren’t many options in Southampton for Muslims."

"It's ok I guess. Chicken strips, fries, octopus. Could have gone a bit heavier with the seasoning. This place really needs to provide and ideally make their own dipping sauces, only thing that was missing. But yes overall it was ok, have had better chicken strips in the past though, octopus was nothing special, fries were ok (without plum seasoning)."
